WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR
This course is intended for all curious minds, young science enthusiasts, and anyone who loves observing and performing experiments!
The material is designed for students in grades 3-6 but can be enjoyed by all students. Adult supervision is recommended for some of our at-home activities, but videos and quizzes can be completed independently. Children will need to create a Coursera account with an adult.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
EXPERIMENT VIDEOS
Our exciting and interactive try-at-home experiments make the course unique, in that we value and encourage hands-on learning.
Most of our experiment videos use simple household materials - you won't need to run to a chemistry store to grab materials! Our trained scientists will walk students through each step in the procedure slowly and carefully, offering helpful tips along the way to provide a great learning experience!

Our short scientific readings offer students the opportunity to explore fun facts and applications of the scientific theories they just learned.
