On March 15, 2025, we'll be sharing an exciting lineup of tours featuring world-class labs and museums at the University of Alberta, tons of live science demonstrations, and more.

Science FUNday is our annual science exhibition, brought to you in partnership by Science FUNdamentals and the Faculty of Science at the University of Alberta. We feature over 100 interactive demonstrations, presentations, and tours. We are ideal for elementary school children and families! 

We present engaging experiments such as DNA extractions from strawberries, flying tea bags, giant dry ice bubbles, colour-changing lollipops, a Rube Goldberg machine, and so much more!

Countdown to FUNday 2025

Time: 10am - 4pm

Location: University of Alberta Centennial Center for Interdisciplinary Science (116 St & 85 Ave, Edmonton, AB T6G 2R3)

Cost: $5 per child (ages 5-12)

Tickets sell fast! Once maximum capacity has been reached, you are given the chance to join the waitlist​. Registration opens February 25th - don't miss out!

Your donation helps our student group achieve our goal of providing free science education for all. Proceeds will fund future Science FUNday events and sustain our regular classroom programming in elementary schools across Edmonton.
